Tasks and frogs

What’s the difference between Today, Tomorrow, and Later?

Today is for the few tasks you’ll actually do today. Tomorrow holds what’s next; those tasks move into Today when the day rolls over. Later is a backlog for everything else. If Today and Tomorrow together get crowded, Frog It asks you to choose what stays.

What is a frog?

A frog is a task that has sat in Later for more than two months. Once a day, Today shows you the oldest one so you can do it today or let it go. To turn this off, go to Settings → Frogs → Frog Prompt.

What does “eat the frog” mean?

It means doing your most important task first, before anything else. Frog It keeps Today short so it’s obvious which task that is.

Habits and goals

How do habits work?

Create a habit and choose how often it repeats: daily, every few days, or weekly. Check it off when you do it; each day’s ring fills and your streak grows.

What are goals?

A goal is something bigger you’re working toward. Link habits and tasks to it, and you can see how each one moves the goal forward.

Sync, widgets, and reminders

How do I sync between my iPhone and iPad?

Frog It syncs through your own iCloud account. Sign in to the same Apple Account on each device and make sure iCloud is turned on for Frog It in Settings → [your name] → iCloud. Changes can take a few moments to appear on your other devices.

How do I add a widget?

Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit (or Customize), then Add Widget, and search for Frog.

How do I turn off the evening reminder?

In the app, go to Settings → Reminders and turn off Evening Prompt.

Privacy and your data

How do I turn off analytics?

Frog It collects only anonymous usage counts, never the text of your tasks or habits. To turn it off, go to Settings → Privacy and turn off Share Anonymous Usage. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my data?

In the app, go to Settings → Data → Delete All Data. Because your data lives in your own iCloud account, you can also manage it from iCloud settings on your device.
